PRAYER CARD LAUNCH

August 25 | Weekend Services
One of the promotional tools we give at the Publicity Launch is a prayer card. The prayer card is an extremely useful tool for churches to use. We ask that all partnering churches in East Texas share the prayer card with their congregation on the same day. The card encourages someone to write the name of 5 friends or family members in their life who don’t know the Lord personally. The CityFest team will send them emails twice a month as a reminder to pray for those friends, and as we get closer to the festival, we encourage people who are praying for friends and family to then invite those individuals to CityFest East Texas.

PASTORS & LEADERS FORUM ON SEXUAL EXPLOITATION

August 27 | Noon  Green Acres Baptist Church | 1607 Troup Hwy, Tyler, TX 75701 | directions
We will have a panel of experts who will be discussing the consequences of pornography in our churches and how it affects our brains. We'll also offer resources for every church to help people break free from the addiction. Another panel will discuss how we are helping rescue and care for victims plus how the church can help mentor and care for those affected.
